The Silent Observer

If the Law of Attraction were a person, he would be with you all day long, silently observing your actions for clues to what it is that you want. Once he determined your desires, he would deliver them to you time and again, without exception.

What would your life look like if all you had to do to get what you want is to ask for it?

The answer is, your life would look exactly like it does now. Every single day the Law of Attraction delivers what you ask for.

How can that be?

I didn’t ask for THIS!!! No, that’s complete nonsense. I don’t get what I ask for – hardly ever!

The problem is, most of us are completely unaware of how we ask for things.

You see, the Law of Attraction is neither a mind-reader nor does it read lips; it is a Silent Observer. It pays no attention to what you say or think. It watches what you are paying attention to and it delivers that.

It turns out that what we focus on is what we get! That is why I’ve devoted my life to teaching myself and others, Change Your Focus, Change Your Life!

I wish we could change how the Law of Attraction works, don’t you? It would be so much easier to write things down on a sheet of paper and mail them to the Silent Observer much as when children send wish lists to Santa Claus.

Unfortunately, just as the Law of Gravity doesn’t change to how you wish it would work, the Law of Attraction won’t either. The way it works was set in stone long before we walked the Earth and it is up to us to figure out how to use it to our advantage. If we can get airplanes to fly in spite of gravity, surely we can find ways to use the Law of Attraction to our advantage.

So here is an important question to ponder:

If someone followed you around for a week, observing the things you’re paying attention to and recording them on a list as requests, what would be on the list?

What’s most likely to be on most people’s lists, based on what we pay attention to would be:

· Please make work my top priority; my family and friends will love me anyhow
· Bring me more people who annoy me
· Make sure I can’t afford what I want
· Please make sure there’s no time for me
· I want to be just healthy enough to get to work every day
· Please send me circumstances that keep me in a continual state of agitation

Most people are smart enough to know what they hope would be there. They are the things we most deeply desire:

· Time with family and friends to show how much we love them
· Happiness
· Abundant health
· Financial security
· Peace of mind and/or a spiritual connection
· Work that fulfills us
· Good relationships with others

Take a good, honest look at your list. What are you paying attention to? Whatever it is, Santa Claus, in the form of the Silent Observer, will deliver it to your door. It doesn’t even have to be Christmas.
